Salsa taught Jasmin to lead with rhythm and follow with her eyes. She dances most weeks, and the discipline shows in small ways: the lightness of her step on a hotel staircase, the timing of a glance across a crowded bar, the laugh that lands exactly on the beat. Even standing still, she seems to be listening for the next song.
Perfume is her second study. She keeps notes on scents the way an atelier keeps swatches, and she will guess what you are wearing within a sentence or two, usually correctly, always with a flirtatious smile when she is not. Mixology completes the edit. Hand her a cocktail list and she reads it like a show programme, pointing out the one drink on it that was built with genuine care. Michelle, her neighbour in the old centre, shares that eye for a well-made glass.
At 22, Jasmin is among the youngest faces on the roster, petite at 160 cm, with long, straight chestnut brown hair and warm brown eyes. Her style is playful boutique-hotel chic, cut with discipline: a black silk slip dress, a fine gold chain, heels she can still dance in. Bubbly and curious, she asks real questions and, unusually, remembers every answer. Petite frames are unforgiving of fussy clothes, and she has learned to choose accordingly: one line, one colour, one detail worth noticing.
She is based in Amsterdam Centrum, which puts the cocktail bars of the canal belt and the boutique hotels around the Nine Streets within easy reach. Conversation with her runs in English and rarely stays on one subject for long, much like the evening itself, which tends to move from a bar to a dance floor to a late terrace without anyone quite deciding. That is precisely the appeal. Say the word and she will teach you the basic step before the night is out.
