In a fashion house, the early years are the years of first collections: ideas form quickly, references are wide and conviction runs high. The fourteen women in this band share something of that season. They are building their passions rather than recounting them, and their conversation carries the energy of people still discovering what they love.
This edit is not about age as an attraction. It describes a particular pace and outlook, curious, spontaneous and full of plans, which suits certain evenings exceptionally well. Every woman in it, as everywhere in the house, is an adult well past 21.

Passions in progress
Many in this band are deep into an interest they speak about with real authority. Luna, 22, can guide you through an unusual wine without a trace of pretension and shoots black and white film. Stacy, also 22, knows the city's comedy clubs and carries a camera at night. Bianka, 23, studies vintage fashion among the small dealers of the Jordaan and cooks Italian food with great patience. Lea, 23, spends weekends at the potter's wheel and holds firm views on glaze.
Milena, 25, plays competitive tennis and throws bowls with equal sincerity. Vanessa, 25, learns languages for the pleasure of new grammar. Lucy, 24, can find Jupiter above the canals, and Laura, 25, will sketch a route through northern Italy on the back of a menu.
The conversation
Expect questions as well as answers. Women at this stage tend to be curious about the cities you have worked in, the book on your bedside table, the restaurant at home you would send anyone to. Tiffany remembers exactly how you take your drink; Rosa wants to know which record you would rescue first. It makes for evenings that feel like an exchange rather than a performance.
The wardrobe
Style in this band is confident and current, but no less edited than elsewhere in the house. Molly wears red satin with a cropped black jacket, Roxi keeps a single orchid accent against black, and Jasmin chooses a silk slip dress she can still dance in. Angelika favours a bare shoulder and one gold bangle. The looks may be bolder, but the discipline is the same.
Evenings with momentum
This edit suits nights that move. A cocktail bar, a small stage, a late terrace, a dance floor if the music is right. The night out format was made for it, and many of these women are happy to change the plan halfway through when a better idea appears on the walk between venues.
Quieter tastes are well served too. Lucy and Rosa are gentle, unhurried company, Vanessa suits a slow Sunday, and Bianka would rather spend three hours over one bottle than visit three bars.
A note on pace
Planning with this band is refreshingly simple. Give a starting point and a rough hour, and the rest often takes care of itself. Stacy may suggest a comedy club you have never heard of, Molly a bar where the DJ is worth the detour, Laura a trattoria with no menu at all. Tell your companion how much spontaneity you would welcome, and she will judge the evening accordingly, keeping it as structured or as open as you prefer.
