Tina is the most compact figure in the house and among the most assured. A fashion design enthusiast from the Jordaan, she wears a sleek black dress and a fitted blazer, clean lines and not one unnecessary detail. Sonya, also in the Jordaan, brings the calm of daily meditation and a love of ballet, dressed in a black midi and a fine cashmere wrap.
Jasmin dances salsa most weeks, and it shows in how lightly she takes a staircase. Her boutique chic keeps to one line, one colour and one detail. Rosa, in De Pijp, has chestnut curls and an earthy warmth, and her relaxed boho wardrobe is given shape by a long black skirt and suede boots.
Lea carries soft auburn waves and a spontaneous charm. Lucy wears dark curls with long satin and silver at the ears, and will point out a planet above the canal if the sky is clear. Tiffany, graceful and exacting, allows herself exactly one piece that catches the light.
The cutting rules
A petite wardrobe works by subtraction. Vertical lines lengthen, so a column dress or a single colour from shoulder to shoe is favoured.
