Liana, 28, returns to the same French authors as to old friends. Patricia, 28, keeps a private practice of small watercolour studies. Thea, 29, has a Japanese restaurant for every mood and a cycling route for every season.
Conversation with range
Women in this band move comfortably between subjects. Michelle, 27, will talk sailing, then a quiet interior scene at the Rijksmuseum, then vermouth, and ask about your colleague by name. Nora, 26, turns a conversation about fashion into one about travel. Tina, 26, can explain why a hemline works and then choose a record to prove a point. Where the younger band experiments, this one edits.
