Auburn and red, the smallest line in the house
Every collection holds one colour used sparingly, a single look in rust or oxblood that the audience remembers long after the show. In this house, that colour is auburn. Three women carry it, and theirs is the smallest of the twelve edits.
Warm hair against a monochrome wardrobe is a quietly striking combination. It needs very little assistance, and these three give it almost none.

Three tones
Luna wears the deepest shade, a dark auburn red that catches every streetlamp in De Pijp. At 171 cm she dresses in bold modern glamour, a black blazer worn as a dress and a red lip, and her verdicts on wine and theatre are delivered briskly and are usually right.
Lea has long wavy auburn hair and hazel eyes. Petite and spontaneous, she lives in Oud-Zuid and loves the theatre, interior design and the potter's wheel. Her wardrobe is soft and romantic, a cream blouse and a skirt that moves as she walks.
Patricia, in the Jordaan, has auburn brown hair, a slim 172 cm frame and a gentle, attentive manner. She paints small watercolours of canal light, loses hours in secondhand bookshops and keeps a devotion to film noir. Her style is bohemian romance, edited with care.
The shared thread
Two of the three are committed theatregoers, and all three are drawn to something made by hand or eye, whether a glaze, a photograph or a painting. It gives this edit a particular kind of conversation, observant and a little artistic, well suited to evenings with a cultural programme. Dressing warm hair
The tailoring rule for auburn is to cool everything around it. Black, charcoal, navy and ivory let the colour glow without clashing, while a touch of gold at the wrist echoes its warmth. Luna leans into contrast with that red lip. Lea softens it with cream. Patricia layers camel over black, and in lamplight the result looks almost painted.
Pattern is used rarely, if at all. A floral wrap dress on Patricia is about as far as the edit goes, and even that sits beneath a plain coat.
Evenings that suit them
A premiere at the Stadsschouwburg followed by a late glass of wine is the natural evening for Lea or Luna, who know the same foyers well. Patricia prefers a slow walk along the Prinsengracht and a candlelit table, or an evening that runs gently into morning as an overnight. All three live within easy reach of the centre: Luna in De Pijp, Lea in Oud-Zuid and Patricia in the canal streets of the Jordaan.
Choosing between the three
The decision usually rests on tempo. Luna is the most independent, a companion who enjoys choosing the restaurant and the wine, and who suits an opening night with a long table afterwards. Lea is the most spontaneous, delighted to abandon a plan the moment a better one appears. Patricia is the gentlest, happiest when the evening is slow, candlelit and full of small, attentive gestures.
