Curvy, tailoring that follows the figure
Couture began with the body, not the hanger. A fitting is where a garment learns the shape it will live in, and the best tailoring follows a figure rather than correcting it. The curvy edit is dressed in that spirit: ten women whose wardrobes are built around fit, fabric and a settled sense of self.

Evening and after dark
Danielle wears a black column dress and a single cuff, and her calm is the kind that settles a whole table. Milena prefers a liquid black dress and a strong shoulder, glamour delivered with complete candour. Luna chooses a sharply cut blazer worn as a dress, then removes one accessory before leaving.
Michelle softens the palette with blush silk under navy, and Bianka favours a vintage silk blouse or a deep black wrap dress, a style she has studied patiently among the small dealers of the Jordaan.
Warmth and daylight
Nancy and Thea, neighbours in Oud-Zuid, bring the sunniest temperaments of the edit, one in camel and white silk, the other in a soft knit and fitted trousers. Rosa pairs a long skirt with an earth toned blouse and a baker's patience. Roxi wears black with one orchid coloured accent and laughs easily, and Molly, in De Pijp, keeps red satin and a cropped jacket ready for a night with a good DJ.
The tailoring principle
Across the edit, the approach to clothing is consistent. Waists are defined rather than hidden, fabrics are chosen to drape rather than cling, and necklines stay clean. Wrap dresses, structured jackets and high waisted trousers appear again and again, because they are shapes that respect proportion. Confidence as the finishing touch
Ask any stylist what completes a look and the answer is rarely an accessory. It is the way the wearer carries it.
