Height is the one measurement a runway still insists upon, because it lets a garment fall as the designer intended. Nine women in the house stand between 172 and 178 cm, and on them the simplest coat hangs like a closing look.
What distinguishes this edit is not the number on the fact sheet but the ease with which it is carried. None of these women stoops, and none of them performs her height. They simply arrive, and the room adjusts around them.

From 178 down to 172
Violetta leads the edit at 178 cm, slender in gold silk under black. Stacy follows at 176 cm with near-black brown hair, a metallic nightlife edge and a sharp sense of humour. Milena, at 175 cm, is high-shine editorial glamour with a disarmingly honest voice.
Samanta and Karolina share 174 cm and a love of formal music, the violin for one, piano and opera for the other. Michelle and Vanessa stand at 173 cm, Michelle rose toned and chatty, Vanessa sandy haired and quietly curious. Angelika and Patricia complete the line at 172 cm, one confident and fond of jazz, the other gentle and devoted to bookshops.
What height asks of a wardrobe
Long proportions forgive very little in length. A sleeve must reach the wrist, a trouser must break cleanly at the shoe, and a gown must clear the floor by exactly the right margin. The tall women of the house tend to favour columns, long coats and wide trousers, shapes that turn height into line. Heels are chosen for the evening ahead rather than for extra centimetres.
Formal rooms
This is the edit for a gala dinner, an opera premiere or a reception among the towers of Zuidas. Karolina understands the choreography of black tie, Samanta holds a room with composure, and Violetta makes a formal dinner unexpectedly fun. When your own invitation arrives with a dress code, share it early, and she will choose a gown that stands beside your own tailoring rather than competing with it.
Tall companions are also a natural choice for business events, where presence matters but should never become the subject of conversation. A reception where you will stand for two hours is worth mentioning too, so that shoes can be chosen accordingly.
Beyond the formal
Height is not reserved for black tie. Stacy takes it to a small comedy club in De Pijp, Vanessa to a slow Sunday along the Amstel, and Michelle to the deck of a boat on the IJ. The same long line that suits a gown suits linen, leather and a sailing jacket equally well.
Arrival
A tall woman crossing a hotel lobby is noticed, which is why the house pays particular attention to how this edit arrives. Coats are long and dark, heels are quiet on marble, and the walk to the lift is unhurried. The impression is that of a guest returning from dinner, nothing more. Two thirds of the edit is based in the Jordaan or Amsterdam Centrum, which keeps arrivals along the canal ring brief. The remaining three live in De Pijp and Oud-Zuid.
